This spring, we are taking our hometown program to the next level. In addition to our traditional skills clinics, we are introducing optional cardio blocks for our middle schoolers and a three-tournament slate to showcase our progress.
Weekly Training & Cardio Schedule
Our schedule is designed to build stick skills, game IQ, and the endurance.
Skills training will be based on player's age as of July 31, 2025.
Ex: Player born on Jan 31st, 2016, is considered 9 yrs old= (U10)

The "Cardio Edge" -Grades 6–8 (Optional)
Our middle school athletes receive an extra hour of dedicated conditioning on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This program is designed to build "game-ready" endurance and agility, giving our players a competitive advantage for their club and school seasons.
2026 Tournament Slate (U12 and U14 only)
As Clark/Garwood players, your athlete is eligible to represent our team at select tournaments. The Spring registration fee covers one tournament. Any other tournament will be at an additional cost (~$40 each). Note: Roster spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sunday, April 26: Montclair State University (U14 Girls)
Saturday, May 9: Total Dutch - Somerset, NJ (U12 & U14 Girls)
Sunday, June 14: Summer Solstice Tournament (U12 & U14 Girls)
Mandatory Registration Requirements
To step onto the turf on March 23th, all players must complete the following:
USA Field Hockey Membership: Ensure your player has an active membership.
Club Affiliation: You must affiliate with our official club:

- Agree and Adhere to the Player and Parent Agreements: Player Agreement / Parent Agreement
Required Gear: Stick, mouthguard, shin guards, and water.
Important Policies
Weather Cancellations: Practices may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
No Makeup Dates: Due to strict permit restrictions at the Garwood Sports and Recreation Center, we cannot schedule makeup sessions for weather-related cancellations.
Facility: All weekly training is held at the Garwood Sports and Recreation Center.
