Welcome to the new home for girls' youth athletics in our community!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for our young athletes. The established Clark-Garwood Field Hockey program has officially taken the helm of the spring girls' lacrosse program, formerly run by Clark Recreation. Moving forward, the program will be proudly known as Clark-Garwood Girls Lacrosse.

While Garwood athletes were previously permitted to register for the Clark Rec program, pulling lacrosse out of the recreation system and under our unified umbrella changes the game entirely. By managing lacrosse as an independent program alongside field hockey, we unlock financial opportunities for growth that simply did not exist before. Every dollar reinvested into the program will now directly fund advanced equipment, modern training resources, and better facilities.

By transitioning into this new model, we are creating a powerhouse of year-round athletic development, sportsmanship, and sisterhood for the girls of both Clark and Garwood.

Our athletes no longer have to wait for spring to pick up a lacrosse stick or fall to grab a field hockey stick.

• Investment in Better Equipment: Operating under our own independent umbrella means direct control over our budget. This financial freedom allows us to invest heavily in top-tier equipment, updated protective gear, and training aids that elevate the safety and quality of every practice.

• Seamless Skill Transfer: Field hockey and lacrosse share identical fundamental concepts. The field vision, spatial awareness, defensive footwork, and offensive cutting required in the fall translate perfectly to the spring. Playing both sports accelerates a player's overall athletic IQ.

• A Stronger, Unified Sisterhood: By keeping our athletes together across multiple seasons, we are fostering deeper friendships and a true sense of hometown pride. The girls learn to trust and support one another, building a bond that extends far beyond the turf.
