🏑 Registration is officially OPEN for the Fall 2026 Season! 🏑

Hey Clark and Garwood field hockey families!

The leaves aren't falling yet, but we are already gearing up for an incredible autumn on the turf. We are thrilled to announce that registration is officially OPEN for both our Fall Travel Program (3rd–8th Grade) and our Little Stix Instructional Program (K–2nd Grade)!

Whether your player is a seasoned travel athlete ready to compete or a little one picking up a stick for the very first time, we have a place for them in the Clark-Garwood Field Hockey family.

Here is everything you need to know to get ready for the fall:

🏆 Fall Travel Program (Grades 3rd – 8th)

Designed for players ready to take their skills to the next level in a competitive and supportive team environment!

• The Experience: Players will develop advanced stick work, game strategy, and positional play through focused practices and competitive weekend games against neighboring towns. We emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication.

• Skill Levels: All skill levels are welcome! Teams are formed by grade level (3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th).

• Dates: August through Mid-November (practices begin in August; weekend games start late August).

• Eligibility Note: Open to residents of Clark and Garwood. Non-residents are only permitted if their hometown does not offer a field hockey program.

• Requirements: All players must have an active USA Field Hockey Membership and affiliate with our club: Clark Field Hockey (ID: 239559).

🎒 Little Stix Program (Grades K – 2nd)

A fun, high-energy, and playful introduction to the sport for our youngest athletes!

• The Experience: No experience necessary! This program is all about building fundamental skills like stick handling, passing, and shooting through exciting drills and small-sided games. It's a fantastic way to develop coordination, learn teamwork, and have a total blast on the field.

• Dates: September through October (Note: Depending on registration numbers, coaches may start some sessions in August!).

• Where: Garwood Sports and Recreation Complex (140 Myrtle Ave, Garwood NJ).
